The Majestic Theatre is my favorite entertainment venue in St. John’s. Fantastic performances in an intimate venue… not a bad seat in the house! Last night’s Songbird A tribute to Eva Cassidy by Karla Pilgrim was outstanding in every way! Check the website for shows or sign-up for notifications! You won’t be sorry!

Great performance space! Comfortable seating, good view sound was great and facility is beautiful. Also love the little bar/lounge, nice vibe! Surroundings really enhanced the show we saw!

We went to the Jazz concert in the main theatre Friday night. Magnificent. The musical selections were crowd pleasers. The singers were skilled and developed rapport with the audience. The musicians were fabulous. We went to listen to Bee Bop Sunday afternoon at the cafe. Also great. Possibly the tastiest oatmeal cookie we ever tasted. Nice coffee and Londong Fog. A wonderful venue for music and drama in the city.

armed with a music degree from MUN Music school, 30 years of being a musician and a huge fan of Eva Cassidy, I and a few friends headed out to the Majestic last night for the tribute. I knew it was likely to be exceptional because of the directorship of our own Bill Brennan and the members of the band and back up singers he chose. But what I'm still not over is Karla Pilgrim. She was superb in every way! Her vocal range, her ability to sing in different genres, her understated yet soulful presence… All of this made it one of the most delightful and memorable concerts I've attended since returning to The Rock four years ago. Congrats to all.Stunning evening

Attended two Candlelight events. The theatre is cozy and intimate. Appears to seat somewhere around 250. Viewed concerts from C section which consists of the Balcony and middle section. View of the stage is very good from both locations. Would recommend seeing a show here and will be back for future ones.

I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to take in several performances at the Majestic Theatre. I’m still waiting to be disappointed, I’d say I will be waiting a long time. This venue and the people who manage the productions and performances and the artists are simply beyond amazing. I am so grateful that the Majestic has been revitalized this way and also for the vision a wise person or group had in doing it in an all inclusive way that allows all ages to experience and without breaking the bank. Kudos to everyone involved, St. John’s is lucky to have you. I hope I am attending events here for a long time to come!
